Webinar Director: AAOS Manager of Registry Engagement Philip Dwyer
You might think that only hospitals participate in the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAOS) Registry Program. That couldn't be further from the truth.
Joint arthroplasty is increasingly being performed in an outpatient setting. Tracking these procedures via the AAOS Registry Program will be invaluable for both ambulatory surgery centers (ASCs) and the Registry Program itself. Incorporating ASC-based procedures will broaden the scope of the Registry data. From the ASC perspective, Registry participation will demonstrate a site's strong commitment to quality.
Join us for a webinar that will cover not only our hip and knee registry the American Joint Replacement Registry (AJRR), but our Shoulder & Elbow Registry (SER) too. We'll review the following topics:
- An overview of the AAOS Registry Program
- The data we collect
- Accessing your data
- Using your data
- Data insights
- An ASC's success story with The Joint Commission Advanced Total Knee Replacement (THKR) Certification
There will be time at the end for an open question and answer session with Registry Program staff.
